Our Goal
Youth Hotrods of Greeley, Colorado * www.youthhotrods.org
Our mission is to reach out to youth (high school) to build integrity, leadership skills, respect, automotive safety, knowledge of basic auto care, etc., through constructive participation in automotive skill through Street Rod building, engine rebuilding, welding, fabricating, etc. Providing youth, a reason-desire to be off the street and using their hands and minds to be constructive; so, to build dreams, and gain desire in their minds and hearts to stay in school and continue their education after H.S.
Goals of Youth Hotrods are as follows:
· Create a positive environment through mature leaders, develop skill building and a desire to stay in school.
· Mentor young people and counsel them on issues they face at home, school, on the street, etc. (Counselor is available)
· Organization that will provide opportunities were young people can volunteer their time to local charities in their community.
Leaders of YHR or Youth Motorcycles must be of strong character to be a positive example and mentor to youth, giving guidance through their love/interest in auto tech. and teaching them skill’s, values, etc. that may lead them to possible future vocations and develop good citizenship and into positive, community leaders in the future.
